Taxi with meters, elevated railways and the famous Tuk Tuks are all there for you to choose from. If you go in for a two night package just the way I did, then you can choose to visit the Imperial palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha on day one and perhaps keep day two for the numerous shopping opportunites Bangkok can offer. Don't forget to catch the famous night life if you have the time and in all this stopover sightseeing, do keep your taste buds on full alert for some amazing Thai cuisine, which should not be missed at any cost. You will be amazed with what this city can offer you on a short stopover and if that's not all, enjoy duty free shopping at the airport to end a fabulous short trip. You will surely remember this.
