Luxpro is a Taiwanese electronics company that is manufacturing a knockoff to the Apple iPod shuffle, called the "Super Shuffle" initially, but they changed the name of the MP3 player to the Tangent to avoid legal action. It didn't work and Apple sued Luxpro in Shihlin District Court of Taiwan for the copyright infringement and won. Luxpro was ordered to desist from manufacturing, advertising, and selling the product. Then Luxpro appealed the ruling and won the appeal. Apple appealed to the Taiwan Supreme Court and they upheld the appeals court ruling in favor of Luxpro. Apple also lost a complaint made with the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission.
