Kuro Neo MP3 player for use with P2P service

Taiwan based P2P music service Kuro has launched Kuro Neo MP3 player for use with its peer-to-peer file-sharing network. It has onboard 512 MB Flash memory and a SD card slot for memory expansion. It can also function as a USB Flash drive and card reader for SD cards being plug and play it does not require any drivers. Kuro will be targetting it's huge 400,000 user base and aims to sell 20,000 players in 2006 for NT$3,888 (US$117). the company is marketing it for NT$1, bundled with a NT$3,888 one-year subscription to its file-sharing network. It can play MP3 and WMA files and connects to the host via USB 1.1 and USB 2.0. On a full charge it can play for 12 hours.

The player does not have a display and has basic functionality. It measures 62(L) x 51.5(W) x 16 (H) mm and will be available in two colors White and Black.
