Good news for music lovers as BBC is drawing up plans for a plug-in gadget that turns MP3 players into digital radios. There are no confirmed details about the capabilities of the gadget or how much it will cost. Also not much is known about the time of availability of the add-on radio. The plug-in gadget would not be limited to playing the BBC digital radio stations. Versions might also be available for mobile phones and cars. Apple's iPod dominates the market for portable music players. There is clip-on gadget for it called the iTrip to listen collection of tracks via FM radio. According to the spokesman, the gadget would be available sooner rather than later.
