There is good news for all you wannabe Jimi Hendrixs, Slashs, Edges and Jason Newsteads! Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia, has 'built' a shirt which enables users to play an 'air guitar' simply by moving one arm to pick chords and the other to strum the imaginary instrument's strings. The T-shirt has motion sensors built into its elbows that pick up the wearer's arm motions and relays them wirelessly to a computer which interprets them as guitar riffs. One arm is interpreted as picking chords while the other strums. The "wearable instrument shirt" is adaptable to both right and left-handed wannabe rock stars. There are no trailing cables to get in the way or trip over and the sound generated is just like an original mp3.
